You don’t have to wait until your renewal is due to upgrade to one of our new roadside assistance options. There are many reasons to switch to a new roadside assistance product today, especially if you want cover that includes:
- Roadside assistance for devices (e.g. e-scooters, e-bikes, bicycles, mobility scooters, wheelchairs)
- Roadside assistance for larger vehicles (e.g. extra large SUVs and RVs)
- Travel entitlements for when you get stuck more than 100km from home

How to upgrade your RACQ Roadside Assistance

Compare your optionsYou can compare your roadside assistance options online in just a few minutes. Upgrades are prorated, so you’ll only pay for the time left on your current policy. You will have to pay for the full year if you upgrade shortly before the renewal date*.

Upgrade in My RACQOnce you know what you want, the easiest way to upgrade your cover is to log in to My RACQ here and select 'Upgrade Roadside Assistance'.

Check your waiting periodIf you’ve upgraded to RACQ Everday Plus, RACQ Ultra Care, RACQ Ultimate Care or RACQ RV, a 72-hour waiting period applies for all additional entitlements.
