Fix The Bruce

We’re standing with Queenslanders to demand fair funding to Fix The Bruce and save lives.

The Bruce Highway is the backbone of Queensland, but it’s broken.

You are 3 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a crash on the Bruce Highway than on the Pacific Highway, and 5 times more likely than on the Hume Highway.

The Federal Government funded at least 80% of upgrades to duplicate the Pacific and Hume Highways, but only want to pay 50% for future upgrades to the Bruce. It's not fair.

Demand fair funding to save lives.

It’s Queensland’s turn for fair funding to Fix The Bruce and save lives.

Unsafe and unfit for purpose...

More than HALF of all fatal crashes on the Bruce Highway are HEAD ON collisions.

Fix the bruce
We’re calling on the Federal Government to commit to a long-term funding agreement with the State Government to fund 80% of future upgrades to fix the Bruce Highway and eliminate all 2-star rated sections.

National highways in other states received 80% Federal funding, but Queensland is being shortchanged.

Queensland demands fair funding to save lives.
