Forget about multiple websites, on this platform members can book their entire holiday. Think accommodation, flights, car hire, experiences and travel insurance all in one spot!
The launch comes as RACQ research revealed one third of Queenslanders listed Europe and the United Kingdom as their dream travel destinations.
Europe was especially popular among respondents aged 65 or older, while younger travellers named Japan as the ultimate destination for a holiday.
RACQ Loyalty Partnerships Manager Joanna Hinton said the new platform was an extension of the incredible service offered in store.
“RACQ Travel has been trusted booking member’s dream holidays for decades and now you can also book online,” Ms Hinton said.
“The idea of RACQ’s new online travel platform is to create a one-stop-shop for all your holiday needs and our great member benefits.
“Our new online platform will offer members great deals on flights, accommodation and holiday packages, with access to an Australian call centre*, open 24 hours a day, to support if needed.”
Ms Hinton said RACQ members could also get discounts on car hire with Hertz, Thrifty, Europcar, SIXT, and Dollar which could help travellers save on their next holiday.
“If you’re heading on a domestic trip, to New Zealand or further abroad, you can access discounts all year round with a range of car hire partners,” she said.
“There are also plenty of discounts available to members on popular tourist attractions, restaurants and takeaway outlets, just to name a few!”
