Visitors to RACQ stores during December could purchase 3D chopper decorations they could construct and hang on their Christmas tree.

The campaign saw more than $2,700 raised for the chopper network while promoting awareness of the great work the chopper crews do across the state.

The RACQ Choppers and Rescue Network, including RACQ LifeFlight Rescue, RACQ CQ Rescue and RACQ Capricorn Rescue, plays a vital role keeping Queenslanders safe.

Whether they are responding to medical emergencies on rural properties, attending car crashes, performing search-and-rescue missions or inter-hospital patient transfers, the support of our members is what makes those flights possible.

In the 2022 financial year, the RACQ Choppers and Rescue Network flew nearly 3,000 missions across Queensland.

This included 6,535 hours in the air with an average of eight missions per day.

And they couldn’t have done it without you, our members.

RACQ is owned by its members, and because of your membership, we’re able to give back to you and your community.

That’s how we’ve helped keep the RACQ Choppers and Rescue Network in the air for nearly three decades.

RACQ Chopper decorations can still be purchased in stores for a $2 donation while stocks last.
