Rendu Towers, the height of retirement in Newstead, is now open
Ozcare has proudly opened its doors to the first residents of Rendu Towers, an exciting new riverside development uniquely designed for over 65s living in the heart of Newstead.
Once complete, Rendu Towers will boast two connected towers, with a total of 135 architecturally designed residences, including 11 Sky Homes and three Sky Pavilions, taking advantage of some of the best river, city and mountain views Brisbane has to offer.
Ozcare’s Head of Retirement Living Anna Gorgijeski was delighted to welcome the first residents to Rendu Towers.
“Our vision for a vertical village in the heart of Brisbane has been about the creation of something very unique, that encourages the warmth of community connection,” Ms Gorgijeski said
“Our focus is to encourage an inclusive, supportive community from the start with walking groups, coffee mornings, Friday drinks and a resident communication app. We want everyone to feel right at home very quickly.”
Inside the community, Club Rendu provides the perfect secluded getaway for residents seeking to relax and unwind with a heated swimming pool, club lounge, private dining room, library, cinema and wellness centre.
Ms Gorgijeski said Ozcare was also looking to the future throughout the design, which includes a three-level aged-care facility, set to offer respite and secure special care for people living with dementia.
“Our residents will experience the very best of care if extra support is ever needed with exclusive access to Ozcare Brisbane North Community Care services for home support, nursing and allied health and co-located residential aged care,” Ms Gorgijeski said.
“There’s lots of space for family to visit and Club Rendu can be accessed by all ages. There is also a playground within the aged care facility for grandkids to enjoy and a park next door.
“At our core, Ozcare is really about bringing people together and building community. We’ve started to forge those connections already. There is a lot of excitement from our first residents to settle in, meet each other and enjoy everything Rendu Towers has to offer.”
