RACQ Everyday is designed for daily commuters who travel short distances. It includes cover for most cars, electric cars and motorcycles.
- Vehicle coverage: No matter who’s behind the wheel, your nominated vehicle is covered
- Vehicle eligibility: Most cars, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and even eligible devices are included
- 20km towing: If we can’t get you moving, we’ll tow your vehicle up to 20km

For short commutes
What does RACQ Everyday cover?
We understand the breakdowns you’re likely to experience and cover the major problems for vehicles up to 4.5 tonne, 2.3 metres high and 6 metres long.
Inclusions of RACQ Everyday

Flat batteries
If your battery is flat, we'll provide you with a jumpstart or organise a replacement battery at your cost. -
Towing
If we can’t get your vehicle going, we’ll arrange for towing up to 20km in any direction, or, if you’re outside of the metro area, up to 50km to the attending RACQ service provider's premises or an intermediate location. -
Emergency fuel
If you run out of fuel, we'll deliver enough unleaded or diesel fuel to get you to a fuel supplier (10 litres at your cost). -
Lockout
If you lock your keys in your car, we'll attempt to access them for you. -
Tyre changing
If you’ve got a flat tyre, we’ll help you fit your car’s roadworthy spare tyre. -
Electric vehicle charging
We’ll give you enough charge to drive to the nearest charging station in range. Or we’ll tow your EV to a charging station or another destination in line with your entitlements. -
Caravan and trailer assistance
We’ll provide wheel changes and towing for caravans/trailers when they’re connected to your Nominated Vehicle, which has broken down. -
Bogged vehicles
We’ll help if your vehicle can be accessed from a constructed road or driveway.

Cover no matter what eligible vehicle you're driving. -
Large vehicles
Vehicles that are over 4.5 tonnes in gross weight, 2.3m high or wide, or 6m long. -
Rental vehicles
Rental vehicles, taxis, limousines or other private rental hire vehicles. -
Commercial vehicles
Vehicles being operated solely for commercial use. -
Vehicles for sale
Vehicles offered for sale by a licensed motor vehicle dealer. -
Unregistered vehicles
Unregistered vehicles or vehicles on a day registration permit -
Tractors or farm equipment
Registered or unregistered. -
Racing vehicles
Vehicles that are involved in or being tested for any form of racing or motor sports. -
Vehicles used as residence
Vehicles used as a permanent place of residence.
