How do I change the address on my car insurance policy?

You can change your insured address online using My RACQ. To make this easy, we've provided a handy list of steps to follow. Please note: The change will take effect from the beginning of your next policy term.

You can change your insured address online, however the change will take effect from the beginning of your next policy term. To change the address listed on your car insurance policy:

  • icon-step-1
    Log in to My RACQ here to access your insurance dashboard.
  • icon-step-2
    Select the car insurance policy you'd like to change the address for.
  • icon-step-3
    Scroll down to the 'Vehicles on this policy' section and select the vehicle you'd like to change the address for.
  • icon-step-4
    Select 'Change insured address'.
  • icon-step-5
    Complete the form to change your insured address. This form includes 'Get started', 'New vehicle location', 'Review' and 'Payment' sections. Make sure you complete all sections.
