RACQ Life and Income Protection Insurance is changing

RACQ’s partnership with AIA Australia Limited (AIA) ended as of 5:00pm AEST 27 April 2023. This means that if you have an RACQ Life or Income Protection Insurance Policy your policy will be renamed by AIA Australia. AIA will also be responsible for giving you any updates about changes that might affect your policy.

There is no action required from current RACQ Life or Income Protection Insurance policyholders in connection with the rebrand and, policyholders will receive separate correspondence from AIA.

We want to reassure that these changes will not impact your premium and policy coverage, and these will remain unchanged for your current insured period. You will also continue to receive the benefits of your AIA Vitality membership.

Changes to look out for

In connection with the rebrand to AIA, some of the other changes you will notice are:

• RACQ will no longer contact you about your policy, instead you’ll hear from AIA.

• Your policy’s billing reference on your bank/credit card statement will change from ‘RACQ Life Insurance’ to ‘AIA Australia Limited’. 

Also, it’s important to know that you are entitled to RACQ membership for as long as you maintain this policy with AIA. This membership honours our commitment in the Product Disclosure Statement to offer RACQ membership for the life of your policy. You will also continue to be entitled to AIA Vitality benefits.
