We advocate for e-scooter safety

E-scooters, otherwise known as Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs or e-PMDs), can be a great mode of transport, but they can also be dangerous if used incorrectly.  RACQ believes these vehicles need to be treated as seriously as other modes of transport; put simply, they are not toys.  RACQ, as Queensland’s largest Club and champion for safe and sustainable transport, acknowledges the work that has already been done, while recognising the need to take action to continue to improve e-scooter safety and further develop a system that caters to the increasing uptake of this new transport mode.
