Check your insurance policy
Please take a moment to read your policy documents to find out what you’re entitled to claim:
- Certificate of Insurance for your policy (you’ll find this on My RACQ )
- Your Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and any applicable Supplementary PDS

Gather your documents
Have the following information handy when you call so that we can process your claim faster:
- Date and time of the incident
- Location of incident
- Details of other people or cars involved
- A police report for losses caused by theft

Make your claim
Call us, and we'll put your claim through over the phone.

Next steps
- You may have to take your vehicle to a repairer for them to inspect the damage
- We will assess any damage and quotes for repair
- We will review liability for the incident
- We will let you know the outcome of our assessment
- You will need to pay any excesses that apply
- We will make payment or authorise any repairs to get you back on the road as soon as possible
