How do I make a car insurance claim?
To make a car insurance claim, you can either head to our car insurance claims page or claim via My RACQ to have certain details pre-filled. We've provided a handy list of steps to follow.
To make a car insurance claim, you can either head to our car insurance claims page or use your My RACQ account to have certain details pre-filled. To make a claim using My RACQ:

Log in to My RACQ here to access your insurance dashboard. -
Select the car insurance policy you'd like to make a claim under. -
Select 'Make a claim'. -
Select the vehicle you'd like to claim for. -
Complete the form to make a car insurance claim. This form includes 'Date and time', 'Your vehicle', 'Tell us what happened', 'Additional information', 'Contact details' and 'Review' sections. To submit your claim, you must complete all sections. -
If life gets in the way, you have the option to save your claim and resume it at a later date. Simply select 'Save' at the top right hand of the screen, then enter your email address and select 'Save'.
